The perfect SMJHL Player in S39

Shot
I decided to go with Karsten Kadinger and his amazing 14 Goals. Yes we have some more with this number but in my opinion he has a golden shot. We will see if he can hold his pace fort he rest of the season.

Grit
For this one I go with the Leader of the Hits in the SMJHL. Timmy Barlow with his 79 Hits. He should easily end the season as Hits-Leader of the S39 SMJHL Season.

Endurance
Here I go with Matthias Victorsson and his 595 played minutes. For he we have too a very close race and I dont know who will end up with the most minutes. But I believe and would like to see Victorsson with the most minutes in the S39 SMJHL Season.

Hands
Now we come to the last season dominator and this season points, goals(shared with some) and assists leader … so again an dominator in the SMJHL. With his 20 Assists he has the best number fort he S39 SMJHL Season so far. Yes I talked about Logan Jensen.

Heart
I decided to chose an leader. I will go with my captain oft he St. Louis Scarecrows. Brady McIntyre is great in our LR and try to help each one. He also try to communicate about all topics and can a bit german. For me a great guy.

For grit, I want the only guy to win a fight so far, my Mammoths teammate Ti-Guy Emond. His fight rating actually isn't much of anything impressive, but he does have some nice defense, checking, and strength ratings. He also finishes in the top 10 in typical grit areas such as penalty minutes, hits, and +/- rating, backing up his attributes with appropriate stats.

For shooting, I want the man with shots on shots on shots, but more importantly, someone that comes up big in big games. I'm talking about Mikhail Lokitonov of Prince George, who leads the league with 5 game winning goals. His overall stats back that up, as he's essentially top 5 in both goals and assists on the season. The stats make sense considering that 81 scoring rating.

Finally, I want a player who can endure long minutes while dishing out hits all over the ice. To me, that person is Seth Paige of the Scarecrows. His total minutes are somewhat misleadingly high since he's played a few more games than players on other teams at this point, but he still averages about 22 mpg, and has about 2 hits per game to back that up. These stats mainly come from his 80 defense, 70 endurance, and 67 checking.

When building the perfect SMJHL hockey player you have to look at a variety of things. The first thing you want when you build a player is go for heart. For heart you obviously want someone with a certain level of attitude and team pride - so I immediately went to Conor Mcgregor. Dude is so committed to the team. When I asked him about his heart and commitment he give such inspiring quotes. "Don't go with me." He added "I have no heart. I have no soul." Sounds like the perfect start to a hockey player for me. A soulless, Heartless Raider.

When it comes to hands you obviously want the amazing of Jon Toner. Jon Toner is an amazing passer and clearly has great hands a wrists. PLUS when you think of what you want in a great pair of hands.Toner is leading the team with an awesome 14 assists.

The other thing you want in a hockey player is a goal scorer. I mean come on. The point of the sport is to put the puck in the net and you need a big time goal scorer for that. And that's why you want the scoring of ME. Iam Essellemm - baller rookie goal scorer - with 8 goals and a lit shooting percentage of 14.81% Iam helps make this Raider frankenstein's monster.

Shot: When I think of shooting in the SMJHL the first player I think of is Kyler Gill of the Prince George Firebirds. Kyler is currently sitting in first in the league in goals with 17 goals which is 13 more than Hudec, he's also sitting in 2nd in shots with 104 on a very high scoring Firebirds team. Right now I'd say Gill is the best sniper in the SMJHL and Hudec would improve a lot from having his shot.

Grit: An area that Radovan Hudec is definitely lacking in is his hitting ability, not only is it his only major weakness but its a major area of concern on the Militia as a whole, a player I think Hudec should really start trying to model his game after is Vancouver Whalers forward Timmy Barlow. Barlow currently leads the SMJHL in hits with 91 to go along with his hitting ability of 80. If Hudec had a hitting ability of 80 I think his terrible rookie season would be looking a lot better and he'd be able to create a lot more open space for himself instead of just getting worked off the puck every game.

Hands: If I could literally steal someones hands for my own player I would steal the hands of Artemi Berezin of the Detroit Falcons. Berezin is currently sitting at 75 passing along with 70 puck handling while Hudec has 65 passing and 60 puck handling. A major disappointment this season for Hudec has been his playmaking ability, in 31 games this season Hudec has 1 assist which is 18 less than Berezin who currently sits at 19. Luckily for Hudec he actually got to spend some time playing with Berezin earlier this year and the belief is that Berezin passed on a few tips to the young Slovakian that he can slowly implement into his game.

Hands: Mikkel Haugen leads the league in Face-off % and I think this is an important stat that can lead to a lot of goals. He is really strong on the puck and his magical hands make him a wizard in the faceoff dot.

Heart: Connor Blackwell on Detroit is a true leader and someone I look up to in the SMJHL. He plays strong every night and does what it takes to win. He is vocal to his teammates and makes everyone is on the same page before a big game. Blackwell is all heart!

Grit: Danny Mete is a former teammate of mine when I was on Vancouver last season and the dude knows how to throw his weight around! He is a great hitter and knows how to use his body to his advantage. Don’t get on his bad side or he will run you through the boards!

Shot: Shaun Stephens on Vancouver is doing great with 13 goals this year! He is sneaky good with his release and does a great job of changing the angle of his release before his shot which fucks with the goalies minds.

Endurance: Thé Dude is one of the best defenseman in the entire SMJHL and his coaches reward him with lots of icetime because of it. He can skate forever and never seems to get tired out there. Some players take breaks on the ice to catch their breath when they play this kind of minutes but The Dude is too busy scoring goals and saucing beauty passes to take breaks.

Hands: For passing ability and silky mitts I would go with Logan Jensen playing for STL, he leads the league in Assists coupling with 16 goals as well. The kid is pulling the strings night in and night out, putting the Scarecrows at the top of the standings.

Grit: You have to take The Dude with his ability to block shots. Also with STL he is having a fantastic season. All around game is great and sacrifices his body daily for his team. STL tenders are thankful for this man and hope he can stay healthy for a deep playoff run.

Shot: Easy one here with Kyler Gill. Leading the league in goals, his release is quick and one of the hardest the League has seen in awhile. Not only do you get his nasty shot, but he also has 24 apples displaying the passing ability of an SHL player in the making.

Endurance: I'd have to take my fellow Knight, Fenton Uriel for his endurance. The guy gives 200%, 100% of the time. Tied for second most minutes played in the league at 760 in only 32 games. He's also got 2 games played less than the others at the top of that statline.

Long has mankind dreamed of an ideal man. An Adonis or a David, if you will. Containing all the attributes one could desire in a neat and tidy package. While that dream, alas, is still unrecognized, this does nothing to dampen conjecture regarding the ultimate form such a Demi-God would take. Here are a few key attributes such a man might possess presented as characteristics of other worthy, though imperfect, gentlemen of the SMJHL.

Such a man must have the hands of a master. Clearly only one man fits that bill appropriately, the soft touch impresario himself, Dermot Lavelle. Lavalle is the unquestioned king of the faceoff circle and a known genius with the stick. Many a lucky lady has learned to her everlasting joy of memory, what hands such as his can do when let loose to find their passion.

Our perfect man must also contain the heart of a tue champion. Someone willing to suffer any indignity, bear any burden, willing to,place themselves into great danger and or risk for,his fellow man and the good of his team. There is only one man I know who contains such a giving and resilient vessel within his chest, the epitome of abidement himself, The Dude.

Shot, or stroke or whatever you'd like to refer to it as, is the last of our essential qualities, and no one alive today has more stroke than the man, the myth and the legend himself, Tony Snow. Handsome Tony Snow has shot to spare. Indeed, he actually regularly donates excess shot to his local Salvation Army.
