Tommy Creller

A two way forward that never blew away the scoring records, but was remarkably consistent and a reliable presence on both ends of the ice. He spent fifteen seasons in the SHL from Manhattan, Seattle, Edmonton, Calgary and back to Manhattan. He was the S22 winner of the Anton Razov Trophy for Playoff MVP. He was a two time Challenge Cup Champion, the first with the Dragons in S32, and the 2nd time back in his original home in Manhattan during S34.

Chico Salmon
user posted image

Chico Salmon played 909 games in the SHL with the Texas Renegades, Minnesota Chiefs, Portland Admirals and the Edmonton Blizzard. He scored 254 goals, tallied 412 assists and registered 1088 hits while finishing at an impressive +139 plus minus. Salmon’s trophy case at the twilight of his SHL career was quite full. He captured the S17 Ryan Jesster Trophy for SHL Rookie of the Year, S25 Ron Mexico Trophy for SHL MVP voted by the SHL Awards Committee, S25 Jeff Dar Trophy for Best Two Way Player, S25 Sarmad Khan Trophy for MVP as voted by the Players, S25 and S27 Sergei Karpotsov Trophies for the most points in the SHL Regular Season. Oh, and he happened to win the Challenge Cup three times as well, twice with Texas and once with the Blizzard.

Dean Colt
user posted image

Colt spent fourteen seasons in the SHL from S20 to S34 with the New England Wolfpack, Hamilton Steelhawks and the Seattle Riot. Colt, a bruising two way forward, scored 151 goals, collected 315 assists, had a +/- of +24 and racked up a bruising 2063 hits throughout his SHL career. Colt won the Challenge Cup in S23 with New England.

Brandon Cant
user posted image

A tremendous 21 year career, Cant suited up for a remarkable 1110 games in the SHL for Los Angeles, Hamilton, West Kendall, New England, Seattle and Minnesota. He captured that elusive Challenge Cup in S23 with the New England Wolfpack. He collected 118 goals, 440 assists, finished at +69 (nice) and had some impressive defensive stat lines with 1147 hits and 1211 shots blocked. Cant was the quintessential workman on the defensive side of the game.

Sachimo Zoidberg
user posted image

A defenseman who spent his entire twelve season career with the Calgary Dragons, Zoidberg was a force to be reckoned with in his own zone. Throughout his 658 career games played in the regular season he was a stalwart in his own defensive zone. He boasts 1768 registered hits, 766 shot blocks and 1076 penalty minutes to his name. He is a three time Challenge Cup Champion with the Dragons in S27, S29 and S32.

Valterri Bottas
user posted image

Bottas had a 9 season career that brought him from the LA Panthers to the Texas Renegades. A defender who put defense first, Bottas captured the S25 Scott Stevens Trophy which is awarded to the SHL’s top defenseman. Bottas scored 69 (nice) goals in his career and served up 287 helpers with a +32 plus minues. He registered 533 hits and 644 shots blocked.

Maxim Horvat
user posted image

A well-tenured player of nineteen SHL seasons, Horvat is once again eligible for the call to the call. Horvat won an amazing three Challenge Cup victories in a row, a feat that I am not sure has been duplicated in the history of the league. Horvat’s first Challenge Cup came in S19 with the Winnipeg Jets, his second in S20 with the Texas Renegades, his third in S21 with the Texas Renegades. He scored 222 goals, collected 348 assists and finished at a respectable +74 plus minus.

Nathan Russell
user posted image

Russell was the quintessential Wolfpack and spent all fifteen seasons with the Boston based franchise. Russell scored 219 goals, collected 388 assists and amassed a daunting 2170 hits throughout his career. Russell took home the S28 and S30 Jeff Dar Trophies for the SHL’s Best Two Way Player and the S32 Damian Littleton Trophy for Greatest Dedication to the League. He won the Challenge Cup four times in his fifteen seasons, the first in S23, a back to back in S30 and S31 and his final Cup in S33.

Chernika Banananov
user posted image

Banananov spent eleven seasons with the Minnesota Chiefs before he joined the Portland Admirals for his final three seasons in the SHL. During his 706 games played, he scored 305 times and registered 321 assists. He finished at +69 (nice) in plus minus. He captured some compelling individual hardware including the Jeff Dar Trophy for the SHL’s Top Two Way Player in S26 and S31, the Sergei Karpotsov Trophy for the most points in a SHL Regular Season in S26 and S28, and the Jay McDonald Trophy that is awarded to the top goal scorer in the SHL Regular Season in S30.

Jackson Rogers-Tanaka
user posted image

Tanaka laced them up for eleven seasons in the SHL from S21 to S31, all of his games played coming in an Edmonton Blizzard uniform. He scored 99 goals and collected 310 assists and finished at a +61 plus minus ratio. Tanaka registered 642 hits and 673 shot blocks. He won the Challenge Cup in S28 with the Blizzard and played a huge role on that Blizzard team.

Congrats prettyburn, I knew from our SMJHL banking days that you'd be a star!

And to Park, I actually don't remember your full username, and you don't come on anymore so what's the point. But nice going!

And peanutbutter, who I don't think I've ever spoken to, but I think everyone knew it would come to this point
